Jammu Apr 27: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the internationally famend IE University, Spain.
“The collaboration aims to foster advancement in teaching, and cultural understanding, as well as the International Reputations of both Institutions through the exchange of postgraduate students, faculty members, and academic information and materials, joint Executive Education Programs and other academic exchanges.
The MoU was signed by Prof B S Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, and Ms Maria-Eugenia Marin, Vice-Provost, Global Academic Partnerships and Alliances, IE University, Madrid, Spain.
Prof BS Sahay said inked Mou will be marked as a positive step toward absorbing the best practices in research and teaching from the best B-Schools in the world.
“India is a quick-rising financial system; this collaboration is appearing as an awesome alternative for each the Institutes and nations, he added.
Sharing her views, Ms María-Eugenia Marín, Vice-Provost, Global Academic Partnerships and Alliances, IE University, Spain reiterated that the collaboration between IE University, Spain, and IIM Jammu is firmly grounded on a standard imaginative and prescient of the position of larger training establishments in creating international leaders geared up with an entrepreneurial mindset, a holistic perspective of the world, and an understanding of the significance of a life-lengthy studying journey.
