CHENNAI: Class XI college students registered 90.93% pass in the Tamil Nadu state board exams. Of 7,76,844 candidates appeared for the examination, 7,06,413 cleared (90.93%) it. It is a marginal increase of 0.8% in comparison with earlier yr.
The pass percentage of ladies is 7.37% extra in comparison with boys. Of 4,15,389 ladies who appeared for the examination, 3,91,968 cleared it. The pass percentage is 94.36%. Of 3,61, 454 boys who appeared for the examination, 3,14,444 cleared it. The pass percentage is 86.99%
Among the themes, laptop science had highest pass percentage of 99.25%.
In accountancy a most of 995 college students scored full marks.
Class X, XI college students can get their short-term marksheets from their respective faculties from May 25 onwards, the DGE introduced in a launch.
Supplementary exams shall be held from June 27. Students can apply for the exams from May 23 to 27.
